Accepted readers receive an iOS or Android invitation with a simple getting-started guide.
We’re inviting language learners with all kinds of routines to use Storyglot on iOS and Android before launch. Read for two weeks, tell us what works and what doesn’t, and help us build the reading app you want.
The Founding Readers program
We’re looking for people who will genuinely read, not professional testers. Any committed language learner aged 18 or older can apply.
Accepted readers receive an iOS or Android invitation with a simple getting-started guide.
Use Storyglot on four different days and finish at least five chapters over two weeks.
Complete two quick check-ins and a final survey. Specific criticism is genuinely useful.
Complete the program and receive lifetime access to every Premium story in every language.
Built for real life
Read on a commute, between client calls, while traveling, or alongside a course. Help us learn whether stories can make language practice easier to sustain than another set of exercises.
What counts as completion
Read on four days
Short sessions are completely fine.
Finish five chapters
Usually about 60 to 90 minutes total.
Send two check-ins
A few focused questions each time.
Complete the exit survey
Tell us what should change before launch.
Applications are open
Invitations roll out as applications arrive so readers have time to complete the program before the August 15 launch. Applying takes about three minutes.
Thanks for raising your hand. We’ll review your language, device, and availability, then email you if there’s a fit in the current cohort.

Questions
No. We’re selecting a balanced cohort across language pairs, skill levels, devices, and daily routines. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Any committed language learner aged 18 or older can apply, including independent learners, travelers, professionals, students, and educators.
Accepted testers complete the two-week program: use Storyglot on four days, finish five chapters, submit two check-ins, and complete the exit survey.
Invitations begin as soon as builds are available and continue in rolling groups ahead of the public launch, planned no later than August 15, 2026.
We’re recruiting for both iOS and Android. iPad users are welcome too. Device availability can vary between invitation waves.
Anything specific: confusing onboarding, awkward translations, difficult passages, bugs, boring moments, and the exact point where you wanted to stop reading.
