Definite noun forms
Kafene means a café, while kafeneja means the café. Dera and kafja follow the same useful pattern.
Adjective markers
Albanian uses small markers before adjectives: kafene e vogël, Elbasan i vjetër.
Place forms
Në means in. Në kuzhinë is in the kitchen, and në kafene is in the café.
Era is in Elbasan now.
This is a small café.
The door is old.
Grandmother's photograph is here.
The door is not open.
Era opens the door.
"Grandma," Era says.
The café is small and old.
The photograph is in the café now.
