Before you read
は and が
は marks the topic of a sentence. が often marks what is there or who is needed. In ここ が 直す工房 です, ここ is the thing being identified.
に, で, and を
に marks a destination or the thing touched. で marks where or with what an action happens. を marks the thing seen, repaired, or used for the action.
です and ます
です makes a polite statement. Verbs ending in ます are also polite: 来ます means come, 見ます means see, and します means do.
Aoi comes to Nishijin in Kyoto.

Aoi looks at the workshop.
She starts work today.
"Hello."
Mori looks at Aoi.
"Are you Aoi?"
"Yes, I am Aoi."
Mori comes over to the counter.
"Here are the chalkboard and tablet."
"We work with the tablet too."
Aoi looks at the tablet on the counter.
Over there, Ren repairs a bicycle.
Aoi watches Ren's hands.
Ren looks at Aoi.
"Starting today?"
"Yes, starting today."
Mori looks at Aoi and Ren.
"The workshop needs Aoi today."
Ren looks at the chalkboard.
"Yes. I will work too."
Aoi looks at her own hands.
Mori looks at the tablet.
Aoi touches the tablet.
Aoi sees the app on the tablet.
"Aoi, will you work with the tablet?"
"Yes. I will work with the tablet."
Ren also comes over to the counter.
"I prefer the chalkboard."
"But what about the app?"
