Je, so, and jaz sem
Je means is, while so means are. Jaz sem means I am, with the short verb form in its natural second position.
Je and jé
Unaccented je means is. The learner text marks jé with an accent when it means eats, so the two meanings stay clear.
Feminine agreement
Kavarna and kava are feminine, so they take majhna, stara, dobra, and odprta.
