Focus markers
Ang marks a focused common noun, while ng marks a non-focused noun. Si and ni do the same jobs before personal names.
Location with sa and nasa
Sa marks a location, as in sa Vigan. Nasa says where someone or something is: Nasa kusina si Aling Rosa.
Respect with po and opo
Po adds respect to a statement or thanks. Opo is the respectful form of yes when Maya answers an older person.
